Awards & Recognition
Werner Enterprises’ first driver, C.L. Werner, knew the importance of recognizing the accomplishments of professional drivers more than 55 years ago. Werner was founded on the basic principle of recognizing a job well done. We pride ourselves on driver recognition and acknowledge safe driving, tenure and everyday professionalism in our drivers.
Million Mile Club
Werner recognizes professionalism and the fact that achieving 1 million safe driving miles is not a matter of luck. It takes a great deal of perseverance, hard work and dedication to attain such an accomplishment. Werner has more than 1,350 drivers who have reached 1 million safe driving miles, approximately 170 who have achieved 2 million and more than 15 who achieved 3 million or more. New members of the Million Mile Club receive a watch, decals, mud flaps and patches identifying them as Million Mile Club members. Though each driver travels a different route, 1 million miles is equal to driving around the world 40 times.
America’s Road Team Captains
Werner has had five elite professional drivers selected to be captains on the American Trucking Associations’ America’s Road Team.
